The Klimt & Rodin exhibition 'An Artistic Encounter,' was on display at the Legion of Honor through 28 January 2018. It was a great opportunity to view a significant group of paintings by the Austrian master Gustav Klimt. The paintings were placed amongst sculptures by Auguste Rodin. Both artists died approximately 100 years ago. This painting by Klimt is titled 'The Virgin,' the work was completed in 1913.
